Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne is an Hollywood actress, author and best-selling novelist. Her talents have won her international recognition. She's the daughter of a Sagittarius born on the 3rd of December 1960, in North Carolina. She's the most senior of the three children who were born to Peter Moore Smith (a paratrooper) and Anne Smith who was a psychologist. She's English and Scottish heritage. Due to her father's job the Moore family often relocated and she had to work hard to make relationships or keep them. Moore was a student at Frankfurt American High School in Germany as her parents moved there. Moore began her career on stage. When she completed the requirements for her B.F.A. in Theater at Boston University in 1983, Moore continued to pursue further studies. In 1983 she graduated with a B.F.A. Moore moved to New York after graduating and began her career in off-Broadway theater. In 1985, she made her debut on screen for the first time in The Edge of Night. She played the dual role as Sabrina Hughes and Frannie Hughes in As the World Turns, which was her breakthrough. She was on the show until 1988, when she received the Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990 her first appearance as an actress in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. In the following years, she called it the film with a small budget. Short Cuts (1997) and 3 Women (1993), each Robert Altman productions, were her first films. The film was critically acclaimed and Moore was nominated for multiple awards. Moore was the first actress to get a major performance in Safe, a 1995 film. The casting of Steven Spielberg's Moore as the lead in Jurassic Park: The Lost World which was one of the most successful films of 1997, marked a major change in her career. In 1999 she starred in the critically-acclaimed Magnolia and was awarded an SAG Award nomination in recognition of her work. The Hours was her co-starring role in 2002, and it earned nine Academy Award nominations, including Nicole Kidman. Moore also appeared in The Forgotten (2003), Freedomland (2005), Shelter (2010) and many other movies. She was also in Non-Stop (2014). Moore is an established star in countless movies and television series. Most recently, she starred in the role of the main character in You Finish Saving The World (2022). Her acting career in Hollywood is well established and she is also an author of children's novels. In 2007, she published Freckleface Strawberry, which became an NY Times bestseller. bestseller, which led to the adaptation into a series and a musical.
